HCIP Security (Fast track) V1.0 (Page 6 )

• The ERSPAN source is the device or interface whose traffic is being copied.
• The ERSPAN destination is the device receiving the encapsulated copy and forwarding it to the traffic analyzer.
• The local monitor session number is locally significant. Therefore, the source and destination do not need matching session IDs such as 47 or 48.
• The erspan-id identifies the ERSPAN stream and must correspond between the source and destination configuration.

• Azure DevOps Analytics views are accessed through the Power BI Azure DevOps (Boards only) connector.
• This connector authenticates directly to Azure DevOps Services and lets you select an Analytics view.
• Analytics views allow filtering and shaping data in the cloud before Power BI loads it.
• Azure DevOps Server (Boards only) is for an on-premises Azure DevOps Server instance, not Azure DevOps cloud.
• A generic OData Feed connection can access OData endpoints, but it is not the purpose-built connector for Azure DevOps Analytics views.
• “OData queries” describes the underlying technology or query approach, not the most appropriate Azure DevOps connector choice here.

• Distinct values = 69

• Unique values = 4

• Response and resolution times
• Availability or uptime
• Performance requirements
• Support responsibilities
• Penalties or remedies for failing to meet requirements

• SOW (Statement of Work): Defines the project’s scope, tasks, deliverables, and timelines.
• MOA (Memorandum of Agreement): Describes how parties agree to work together, often with shared responsibilities.
• MOU (Memorandum of Understanding): Records a mutual understanding or intent, usually with less contractual detail.

• Third-party attestation: Provides independent validation, but is typically periodic and performed by an external party.
• Penetration testing: Simulates attacks to identify exploitable vulnerabilities; it does not primarily track compliance.
• Vulnerability scans: Identify technical weaknesses, but do not provide a detailed review of procedures or compliance activities.

• Default route: 0.0.0.0/0; used only when no more specific route exists.
• Network route: A route covering the destination, such as 10.10.13.0/24.
• Host route: An exact 10.10.13.10/32 entry in the routing table.
• Floating static route: A backup static route with a higher administrative distance.

• Proxy server: Acts as an intermediary for requests, but does not necessarily provide an encrypted connection to the corporate network.
• NGFW: A firewall with advanced inspection and filtering capabilities; it may support VPNs but is not the remote-access solution itself.
• Security zone: A logical network grouping based on trust or security requirements, not a method for remote access.

• Start the print spooler service: The Print Spooler manages print jobs and allows Windows to communicate with printers. Starting it restores printing immediately.
• Set the Print Spooler to Automatic: This makes Windows start the service during each boot, preventing the user from needing help every morning.

• No dependencies: Dependencies help determine which services start first; changing this does not solve the recurring issue.
• Recovery: Take no action: This would prevent Windows from responding appropriately if the service fails.
• Printer extensions and notifications: Not required for basic printing.
• Log on as the user: The spooler normally runs under a system service account; using the user’s account is unnecessary and potentially less secure.

• Process Builder: Automates actions based on record changes; it does not create interactive user forms.
• Approval Process: Routes records for approval and captures approval decisions.
• Outbound Message: Sends information to an external system; it does not provide a user interface.

• A is correct: It establishes the revised dates and identifies the effect on the critical path.
• B is premature: Stakeholders should be informed after the impact has been assessed and the updated schedule is understood.
• C is not automatically appropriate: Fast-tracking may introduce additional risk and should be considered only after analyzing schedule options.
• D is premature: Adding resources may not resolve a dependency and could increase costs without addressing the actual constraint.

• File is shared externally ? Access level

• File is labeled “Internal only” ? Sensitivity label

• JDBC
• SnowSQL
• Snowflake Web Interface (UI)
• ODBC
• Python connector

• Customer needs: Primary focus in agile; guides prioritization and decision-making.
• Organization’s needs: Important constraints, but processes should be tailored when they create waste.
• Agile lead/project manager: Their role is to facilitate value delivery, not prioritize their own preferences.

• C. Case after-insert trigger that publishes a Platform Event

• D. Custom Apex controller that publishes a Platform Event

• A. Trigger with a callout: Salesforce triggers should not make direct synchronous callouts, and this tightly couples transaction processing to the external system.
• B. Workflow Rule with Outbound Message: This can react to record changes, but it cannot reliably capture a user clicking a menu item. It also does not provide the same flexible event-driven model as Platform Events.

• Something you know: Password or PIN
• Something you have: Security token, smart card, or phone receiving an authentication code
• Something you are: Fingerprint or facial recognition
• Somewhere you are: Location-based verification

• Storage usage of files stored in Microsoft Teams: SharePoint site usage report

• Number of active users per team: Microsoft Teams usage report

1. SharePoint site usage report
2. Microsoft Teams usage report

• ROUGE-N: matching word sequences, such as unigrams or bigrams
• ROUGE-L: matching the longest common subsequence
• ROUGE-Recall: how much of the reference content appears in the generated summary

• F1 score: A general classification metric based on precision and recall; not specifically designed for summarization.
• Perplexity: Measures how well a language model predicts text, rather than how closely a generated summary matches a reference.
• Fréchet Inception Distance (FID): Typically evaluates similarity between generated and real images, not text.

• A: CEO-sponsored formal policy — demonstrates executive support, but sponsorship at one point in time may not sustain commitment.
• B: Security awareness training — primarily improves employee behavior, not senior management commitment.
• C: Periodic alignment reviews — ongoing reviews show that security remains relevant, supports business priorities, and uses resources appropriately.
• D: Senior management signoff on the strategy — useful for governance and accountability, but signoff is generally a one-time event.

• STIX: A standardized format for exchanging cyber-threat intelligence.
• OVAL: A language and framework for describing and assessing system vulnerabilities and configuration issues.
• Threat intelligence feed: Provides current indicators or threat information, but is not specifically a reference for common application exploitation techniques.
• CVE: A catalog of publicly disclosed vulnerabilities, identified by unique CVE numbers.

• A — Tables
• B — Named file formats
• C — Schemas
• E — Databases

Why these are correct

• Tables: Can be cloned using CREATE TABLE ... CLONE. The clone initially uses zero-copy cloning, so storage is shared until changes are made.
• Named file formats: Can be cloned as database objects, preserving the file-format definition.
• Schemas: A schema and its eligible objects can be cloned.
• Databases: A database and its eligible schemas and objects can be cloned.

Why the others are incorrect

• Shares: A share is an account-level data-sharing object, not a normal cloneable database object.
• Users: Users are security principals and cannot be cloned with CLONE.

• B: Extending credit to customers increases receivables, so more cash is tied up in working capital.
• C: Replacing obsolete inventory does not reduce the overall inventory investment; it simply changes its composition.
• D: Paying suppliers earlier reduces payables. This uses cash and therefore increases the funds tied up in working capital.

• Self-signed certificate — Causes a certificate trust warning, not incorrect name resolution.
• Nameserver record — A DNS record problem would usually affect multiple users, unless only this computer uses a different DNS server.
• IP helper — Relays certain network services, commonly DHCP, between subnets; it does not normally determine website name resolution.

• Security groups
• Dynamic security groups
• Cloud-only or synchronized security groups

• Microsoft 365 groups
• Distribution groups
• Mail-enabled distribution groups

• 25 — Traditional SMTP server-to-server mail delivery; often restricted and not the usual client submission port.
• 110 — POP3, used for retrieving email; normally unencrypted.
• 143 — IMAP, used for retrieving and synchronizing email; normally unencrypted.

• On-premises resources, such as an existing database
• Cloud resources, such as Azure services or virtual machines
• Connectivity that allows the application to use both environments

• Public cloud: resources are entirely provided through a public cloud provider.
• Private cloud: resources are dedicated to one organization, typically on-premises or privately hosted.

• Data owners: Decide who should have access and approve the access rules.
• Business process owners: May help define business requirements, but normally do not enforce technical permissions.
• Security steering committee: Provides governance and direction; it does not manage individual access rights.
• Security administrators: Apply and enforce the approved access controls.

DAX
Blue Sales =
CALCULATE(
    [Total Sales],
    KEEPFILTERS('Product'[Color] = "Blue")
)

• CALCULATE evaluates [Total Sales] after applying an additional filter.
• 'Product'[Color] = "Blue" restricts the calculation to blue products.
• KEEPFILTERS ensures the existing filter context is preserved. For example, filters for year, region, or customer remain active. If Color is already filtered, the blue condition is applied as an intersection rather than replacing the existing filter.
• Avoid ALL, because it removes filters and would not maintain the existing context.

• Customers may boycott V’s products.
• Supermarket customers may stop buying from V.
• Investors may view V as having higher legal, ethical and reputational risk.
• V could face fines, lawsuits, contract losses and higher costs.
• Expected future profits may fall.

• 50% memory utilization baseline: The environment can be provisioned with excess capacity, leaving room for growth and workload spikes.
• Storage scalability: Cloud storage can generally be expanded as needed without redesigning the physical platform.
• Single circuit failure resilience: A properly designed IaaS provider uses redundant power circuits and infrastructure, so failure of one circuit should not take the platform offline.

• A — Dual PDUs: Helps with power redundancy but does not provide storage scalability.
• C — Network load balancing: Provides network-path resilience, not memory or storage scalability, and does not address a power-circuit failure.
• D — Multiple NAS devices: May improve storage capacity, but does not inherently provide power resilience or the required compute-capacity baseline.

• The connected switch
• The switch’s port/interface
• Device and port descriptions
• Sometimes VLAN or management information

• IKE: Establishes security associations for IPsec VPNs.
• VLAN: Defines logical network segmentation; it does not identify a physical switch port.
• netstat: Displays local network connections and statistics, not the upstream switch and port.

• Limiting the number of MAC addresses learned on a switch port
• Allowing only specific, approved MAC addresses
• Taking action when the limit is exceeded, such as dropping frames or disabling the port

1. Yes — One account can manage multiple subscriptions

1. No — You cannot merge two subscriptions into one

1. Yes — A resource belongs to only one subscription

• Transport and handling
• Storage and warehousing
• Refrigeration
• Shelf-stacking or replenishment
• Other costs directly attributable to product P

• Route table: Controls how traffic is routed within a VPC; it does not use the AWS worldwide network to accelerate internet traffic.
• AWS Transit Gateway: Connects multiple VPCs and on-premises networks through a central gateway, but it is not primarily an internet traffic acceleration service.
• Amazon VPC: Provides isolated virtual networking in AWS, but it does not itself accelerate traffic globally.

• Namespace: The namespace associated with the code where the checkpoint was set.
• Time: When the checkpoint was captured or executed.

• Exception: Exceptions are viewed through debug logs or execution results, not as the primary Checkpoints tab information.
• Debug Statement: System.debug() output belongs in the Logs tab. A checkpoint captures program state, such as variables and their values, at a specific point in execution.

• LastName: Required.
• FirstName: Optional.
• AccountId: Optional; a Contact may be associated with an Account later or remain private, depending on organization settings.
• Name: A compound display field made from first and last name; it isn’t entered as a separate field.

• 10 minutes have elapsed, or
• 20 MB of accounting data has accumulated

• Note the question number before leaving—for example, Question 38.
• Use the exam’s question navigator or Back/Previous button to return to that number.
• If you close or refresh the page, your position may not be saved, depending on the site. Reopen the page and select the question number again.
• Avoid using the browser’s Back button if it causes the exam page to reload; use the exam’s built-in navigation instead.

apex
Set<Id> accountIds = new Set<Id>{ accountId1, accountId2 };

List<Account> accounts = [
    SELECT Id, Name
    FROM Account
    WHERE Id IN :accountIds
];

• A: LIMIT accepts a number, not a collection of IDs.
• B: Set.containsAll() checks set contents in Apex; it does not filter SOQL results.
• C: Database.query() accepts a dynamic SOQL string, not a Set<Id> directly.

• B — The glass core component is encased in a cladding.

• D — Light is transmitted through the core of the fiber.

• BNC connectors are associated mainly with coaxial copper cabling, not standard fiber connections.
• Data does not pass through the cladding; the cladding helps reflect and contain the light.
• RJ-45 connectors are used with copper Ethernet cabling, not fiber-optic interfaces.

• Complex inputs: A queueable job can accept and retain complex data such as Map<Id, Project__c> and List<Account>.
• Callouts: The class should implement both:

apex
  public class ProjectJob implements Queueable, Database.AllowsCallouts {
      // execute method
  }

• Execution confirmation: System.enqueueJob() returns an AsyncApexJob ID. You can use that ID to query job status and confirm whether the job completed successfully.

• @future(callout=true) supports callouts, but future methods have more restrictive parameter types and return no job ID for tracking.
• Database.AllowsCallouts is only an interface that permits callouts; it is not an asynchronous mechanism by itself.
• Schedulable is intended for jobs that run at a scheduled time, not primarily for submitting a long-running asynchronous operation.

• Company documents
• Databases
• Knowledge bases
• Current web or business data

• A: Describes diversity and inclusive design, not grounding.
• B: Describes explainability or model interpretability.
• D: Describes documenting a model’s capabilities and limitations.

• Accept terms of use
• Enter a temporary code or credentials
• Provide basic registration information

• Enterprise authentication — Authenticates organizational users, often with centralized identity services; it is not specifically designed for temporary guest access.
• Ad hoc network — A temporary device-to-device network, not an authentication process.
• WPA3 — A wireless security standard. It protects Wi-Fi access but does not provide the web-based temporary access workflow described here.

• Employees can work from any location, including remote sites and offices worldwide.
• Login can be relatively seamless after the device is registered.
• It does not require distributing additional physical authentication equipment.

• Geotagging: Identifies location, but location alone is not a strong authentication method and may prevent legitimate remote access.
• Smart cards: Provide strong authentication but require card readers and physical cards, increasing equipment and management requirements.
• Time-based logins: Typically involve one-time codes that users must enter, making the experience less seamless and potentially requiring a token or authenticator app.

• The CSV contains the external users’ email addresses.
• The bulk invitation feature supports inviting many guest users in one operation.
• Each invited user becomes a guest account in contoso.com.

• A script of cloud CLI commands: IaC because the commands can be saved, reviewed, versioned, and rerun consistently.
• Manually run curl commands: Not necessarily IaC; they are manual actions unless organized into an automated script.
• A sequence of REST requests passed to an API: Could represent automation, but the wording does not explicitly say they are stored and executed as reusable code.
• Commands entered into a cloud console: Manual operation, not IaC.

• The users currently have Office 365 Enterprise E3 licenses assigned directly.
• Assigning Microsoft 365 Enterprise E5 through a group does not automatically remove their directly assigned E3 licenses.
• From the Licenses blade, you can select the E3 product and remove it from all assigned users in one operation. This requires less effort than editing 2,500 users individually.

• Identity Governance manages access reviews, entitlement management, and related governance—not bulk license removal.
• Set-AzureAdUser does not remove product licenses.
• Set-WindowsProductKey applies Windows product keys and is unrelated to Microsoft 365 licensing.

• O dispositivo estar registado no Windows Autopilot;
• A atribuição de Profile1 ao grupo;
• O estado de associação ao Microsoft Entra ID e de inscrição no Intune/MDM.
