• Azure DevOps Analytics views are accessed through the Power BI Azure DevOps (Boards only) connector.
• This connector authenticates directly to Azure DevOps Services and lets you select an Analytics view.
• Analytics views allow filtering and shaping data in the cloud before Power BI loads it.
• Azure DevOps Server (Boards only) is for an on-premises Azure DevOps Server instance, not Azure DevOps cloud.
• A generic OData Feed connection can access OData endpoints, but it is not the purpose-built connector for Azure DevOps Analytics views.
• “OData queries” describes the underlying technology or query approach, not the most appropriate Azure DevOps connector choice here.

• PC A: 192.168.1.10/24
• PC B: 192.168.2.10/24

• Both PCs have a correct default gateway
• A router or Layer 3 switch connects the subnets
• Routing and firewall rules allow the traffic

• Deterrent control: The signs warning that people may be filmed can discourage unauthorized activity. They do not physically prevent the activity, but they may influence behavior.
• Detective control: CCTV detects or records activity so security personnel can identify incidents and investigate them later.

• Preventive: Stops an incident from occurring, such as a locked door.
• Corrective: Restores systems after an incident, such as backups.
• Directive: Instructs people what to do, such as security policies or warning instructions.
• Compensating: Provides an alternative control when the preferred control cannot be used.

• Identifies which user or department owns the device
• Supports inventory and compliance requirements
• Enables tracking of lost, stolen, retired, or unauthorized devices
• Helps enforce security controls such as mobile-device management and secure configuration

• Redesign how work is performed
• Deliver services faster and more flexibly
• Scale resources as demand changes
• Improve customer experiences
• Support innovation and new business models

• A: Cloud transformation applies to organizations of all sizes, not only large enterprises.
• C: It affects the entire organization, including business operations, customer service, and strategy—not just IT.
• D: Cloud adoption often requires significant process and cultural change, rather than simply continuing business as usual with lower costs.

• Scale out during the hours when customer traffic is high.
• Scale in during low-demand periods, reducing instance-hours and cost.
• Use scaling policies based on metrics such as CPU utilization or request count.

• Multiple Availability Zones: Improves availability and fault tolerance, but does not automatically reduce cost.
• Placement group: Helps with specialized performance or low-latency requirements, not cost optimization.
• Private subnets: Improve network security, but do not automatically adjust capacity or reduce EC2 usage costs.

• Deterrent control: The signs warning people they may be filmed discourage unauthorized or malicious behavior. They may prevent incidents by influencing behavior, but their primary purpose is to deter.
• Detective control: The CCTV system monitors and records activity so security personnel can identify suspicious or unauthorized actions.

• Preventive: Blocks or prevents an incident, such as a lock or access-control system.
• Corrective: Fixes or restores systems after an incident.
• Directive: Tells people what they must do, typically through policies or procedures.
• Compensating: Provides an alternative control when the preferred control cannot be used.

• Separate development, test, and production environments
• Building components in unmanaged solutions during development
• Organizing solutions by functional area
• Exporting and deploying managed solutions to production
• Validating changes before production deployment
• Preventing developers from overwriting one another’s production changes

• Data owners: Decide who should have access and approve the access rules.
• Business process owners: May help define business requirements, but normally do not enforce technical permissions.
• Security steering committee: Provides governance and direction; it does not manage individual access rights.
• Security administrators: Apply and enforce the approved access controls.

• Link connects
• Link drops
• Link reconnects
• The cycle repeats

• Failing switch port or network interface
• Damaged cable or loose connector
• Speed/duplex mismatch
• Power or hardware problems
• Spanning Tree configuration issues

CIMA P3 topics

• IT governance and systems strategy
• Systems development and implementation
• Change and project governance
• Strategic and business risk

• A — Plan for new systems: The committee should help identify and prioritise systems requirements and ensure planned systems support organisational needs.
• D — Consider competitive issues: New information systems may affect Y’s competitive position, service quality and efficiency. These strategic implications should be considered.
• E — Ensure the system meets company goals: This is a key governance responsibility. The committee should ensure the project remains aligned with Y’s objectives and delivers business value.

• B — Develop new systems: Detailed system development should be performed by IT specialists and project teams, not the steering committee.
• C — Manage the project: The project manager should handle day-to-day project management. The steering committee should provide oversight, challenge and key decisions, rather than manage daily activities.

• Build, measure, learn: Create something, assess real feedback or results, and adapt.
• Minimum viable product (MVP): Produce the smallest useful version to test assumptions and reduce uncertainty.
• Fail fast: Test ideas early so that unsuccessful approaches can be identified before significant time or cost is invested.

• AWS is responsible for the cloud infrastructure, including physical servers, hardware replacement, and firmware updates.
• For managed database services such as Amazon RDS, AWS generally manages the underlying operating system patching and infrastructure maintenance.
• The customer remains responsible for application-level software, including obtaining and paying for required application licenses.

• Operating system patches for managed databases: Typically handled by AWS.
• Hardware replacement: AWS responsibility.
• Firmware updates for physical infrastructure: AWS responsibility.

• Microsoft Purview portal: Create and manage sensitivity labels and configure support for sensitivity labels used with Office files in SharePoint and OneDrive.
• SharePoint admin center: Primarily manages SharePoint settings. Older guidance and PowerShell procedures used SharePoint tenant configuration, which can make this question confusing.
• IRM: Concerns Information Rights Management and is a separate protection mechanism; it should not be used to identify the portal for configuring Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels.

• Injection
• Broken access control
• Authentication failures
• Security misconfiguration
• Cross-site scripting

• STIX: A standardized language and format for exchanging threat intelligence.
• OVAL: Used to describe and assess system vulnerabilities and configuration issues.
• Threat intelligence feed: Provides current indicators and intelligence about threats, but not necessarily a structured overview of common application exploitation methods.
• CVE: A catalog of individually identified, publicly disclosed vulnerabilities.

• Form layout
• Related lists
• Dictionary settings
• UI policies
• Client scripts
• Views and field visibility

• Personalization usually affects only the individual user.
• System configuration can affect other users, depending on its scope and conditions.

• Namespace: The namespace associated with the code where the checkpoint was set.
• Time: When the checkpoint was captured or executed.

• Exception: Exceptions are viewed through debug logs or execution results, not as the primary Checkpoints tab information.
• Debug Statement: System.debug() output belongs in the Logs tab. A checkpoint captures program state, such as variables and their values, at a specific point in execution.

• The JSON files contain one billion items, so this is a big-data workload.
• PySpark uses Apache Spark’s distributed, parallel processing, allowing the data to be processed across multiple compute nodes.
• It can read and transform data directly from OneLake, helping minimize unnecessary data movement or duplication.
• A Fabric notebook can also support exploration and visualization, as well as Spark-based analytics and anomaly-detection workflows.

• Pandas is primarily in-memory and generally suited to smaller datasets. One billion records would be impractical on a typical single machine.
• A Power BI report with core visuals is appropriate for visualization and sharing, but it is not the best tool for large-scale transformation, parallel processing, or anomaly detection. It would normally consume prepared data rather than perform the entire workload.

• Compute: Not used; no virtual warehouse is required.
• Data Storage: Not scanned again.
• Metadata: May help Snowflake manage and validate cached results, but it is not the Snowflake architectural layer identified as serving the request.
• Cloud Services: Handles query coordination, metadata services, authentication, and result-cache access.

• Labels control access and protection, not blanket exclusion.
• If the user has permission to open a labeled file—especially if the label allows authenticated users to view it—Copilot can use that file in a summary.
• If the label applies encryption and the user lacks the required usage rights, Copilot should not use the file or reveal its contents.
• Copilot honors the user’s existing permissions, so it should not expose labeled content to an unauthorized user.

• A script of cloud CLI commands: IaC because the commands can be saved, reviewed, versioned, and rerun consistently.
• Manually run curl commands: Not necessarily IaC; they are manual actions unless organized into an automated script.
• A sequence of REST requests passed to an API: Could represent automation, but the wording does not explicitly say they are stored and executed as reusable code.
• Commands entered into a cloud console: Manual operation, not IaC.

• Allow the team to identify the causes of delays.
• Encourage improvements to processes, tools, and collaboration.
• Help remove impediments without dictating solutions.
• Protect quality and maintain a sustainable pace.

• A: An impediment log may help track issues, but merely recording them does not resolve the root causes.
• B: Directing teams toward solutions conflicts with the agile principle of a self-managing team.
• C: Adding impediments to the product backlog may delay their resolution and incorrectly treats them as product features.

• Future costs — Only costs occurring in the future can be affected by the investment decision. Past costs are sunk and irrelevant.
• Incremental costs — These are additional costs caused by choosing the investment. They are relevant because they differ between alternatives.
• Cash flows — Capital investment decisions are based on future cash inflows and outflows, usually discounted to present value.

• Committed costs have already been agreed or incurred and generally cannot be changed by the decision.
• Unavoidable costs will arise regardless of which option is selected, so they do not affect the choice.

• Minimum and maximum values
• Number of distinct values
• NULL information
• Other metadata used for pruning

• Record changes — a flow can start when a record is updated or otherwise changes.
• Schedules — a flow can run at a specified date/time or on a schedule.
• Record inserts — a flow can start when a new record is created.

• Subflows are reusable flow components called by another flow; they are not normally trigger types.
• Record views do not generally initiate a Flow Designer flow.

• Root path cost
• Port priority
• Port ID

text
interface GigabitEthernet0/1
 spanning-tree vlan 10 port-priority 64

• Interface number: Helps form the port ID but is not normally configured as the preference value.
• VLAN priority: Not used to select a preferred forwarding interface.
• Hello time: Controls how often BPDUs are sent; it does not select a preferred port.

• Which batches and markets are affected
• Whether the deficiency affects product quality, efficacy, or patient safety
• Whether the issue is an ongoing manufacturing problem
• Whether immediate containment or distribution suspension is needed

• A — Withdraw the product: may be necessary, but is premature before assessing the risk.
• B — “Dear Dr.” letter: may be appropriate later, depending on the risk.
• C — Notify global authorities: may become mandatory, but the scope and urgency depend on the assessment.

• CPU: Number of virtual CPUs and, where applicable, CPU reservations.
• Memory: Amount of memory and memory reservations.

• Network interface: Usually configured through the VM or workload networking configuration.
• PCI devices: Specialized hardware and not a standard VM Class resource in this context.
• Storage: Typically selected through storage policies or the VM’s storage configuration.

• Complete MFA, or
• Securely change their password

• Identity Protection: evaluates user and sign-in risk and can trigger remediation.
• Privileged Identity Management (PIM): manages temporary, just-in-time access to privileged roles; it does not automatically require password changes for risky sign-ins.

Statement 1 — Correct

Statement 2 — Correct

• The application stores data on Amazon EBS volumes, so the encryption should be applied directly to those volumes.
• EBS encryption uses AWS-managed cryptographic operations and is designed to provide encryption at rest with minimal performance impact.
• The volumes are created during initial deployment, so they can be configured as encrypted when provisioned.

• B: Moving data to an encrypted S3 bucket changes the storage design and does not encrypt the EBS data the application uses.
• C: A custom encryption algorithm adds application overhead and is unnecessary.
• D: Ephemeral disks are temporary storage and can lose data when instances stop or terminate. Encrypting only the AMI’s root volume does not protect data stored elsewhere.

• A. Continue using the current system: It will eventually fail and offers no recovery strategy.
• B. Virtualize the entire system: Correct. A VM can preserve the old OS, application, settings, and dependencies while running on newer physical hardware.
• C. Containerize the application: Containers generally share the host OS kernel and are not suitable for preserving an entire incompatible legacy OS.
• D. Clone the disks to USB: A disk clone may provide backup or temporary recovery, but it does not solve hardware compatibility or provide a reliable long-term platform.

• Defender for Servers is the Defender for Cloud plan that protects Azure VMs and generates security alerts that can be reviewed in Defender for Cloud.
• Azure Diagnostics extension collects guest OS monitoring data, but it does not onboard VMs to Defender for Cloud or provide Defender security alerts.
• Data connectors are used for Sentinel integrations.
• Azure Storage Analytics and workflow automation do not provide VM protection.

• Review administrative-role membership ? PIM access reviews
• Require justification for continued membership ? PIM can require justification when activating or maintaining privileged access
• Alerts about administrator assignment changes ? PIM alerts and notifications
• History of administrator activation ? PIM audit history
• See changes made to Azure resources ? PIM activation/audit information can be correlated with Azure Activity Logs

• Run the backup with WITH CHECKSUM
• Store the backup on an SMB network share

sql
BACKUP DATABASE DB1
TO DISK = '\\FileServer\SqlBackups\DB1_full.bak'
WITH CHECKSUM;

• DMS does not create the SQL Server backups for you.
• You must provide a valid full database backup.
• You must continue taking transaction log backups while the source database remains online.
• The full backup and subsequent log backups must be available in the SMB share that DMS can access.
• WITH CHECKSUM enables backup checksum validation, helping detect backup corruption.

• Accept: Acknowledge the risk without taking additional action.
• Transfer: Shift the risk’s impact to another party, such as through insurance or outsourcing.
• Mitigate: Reduce the likelihood or impact, such as by implementing controls.
• Avoid: Eliminate the activity or situation that creates the risk.

• Azure Cosmos DB is a globally distributed NoSQL database service. It stores and retrieves application data, but it does not provide the complete environment for building, testing, and deploying predictive analytics models.
• Azure Machine Learning is the appropriate service for this requirement. It supports creating experiments, training and testing models, and deploying them for predictions.
• Azure Machine Learning Studio provides the browser-based interface for these tasks.

• Sales revenue is affected because internal sales are recorded at the transfer price.
• Operating profit is affected because revenue changes while costs may remain unchanged.
• Return on investment (ROI) is affected because ROI depends on operating profit and the division’s investment.
• Cost of components purchased is not affected by the transfer price. These are costs incurred when buying components from external suppliers, not the internal price charged for the division’s output.

• sn_si_admin is an SIR administrator role.
• The prefix helps prevent naming conflicts between applications.
• It does not refer to a “Secure Identity token” or an instance security check.

• Accept: Acknowledging the risk and choosing not to take additional action.
• Transfer: Shifting the risk or financial consequences to another party, such as an insurer.
• Mitigate: Reducing the likelihood or impact through controls, such as patching or access restrictions.
• Avoid: Eliminating the activity that creates the risk.
