• B — There is a known fee if agreed in advance: A fixed or agreed fee can make costs more predictable and support budgeting.
• C — Allows management to focus on core operations and issues: Senior managers spend less time supervising routine finance processes and more time on strategic matters.

• Increased control: Control may decrease because the activity is performed externally.
• Increased independence: The organisation becomes dependent on the supplier.
