Registry Examination for Advanced Pulmonary Function Technologists (Page 10 )

• Escape to host: A virtualization attack where code escapes a guest VM and accesses the host system. Nothing in the scenario mentions virtualization.
• Browser extension: Can redirect or manipulate web-browser traffic, but not normally database-server traffic.
• Valid accounts: Describes using stolen or compromised credentials, not redirecting network traffic.
• Process injection: Injecting malicious code into a legitimate database or networking process could allow an attacker to alter how that process handles outgoing traffic.

• Reporting relationships
• Organizational structures
• Leadership styles
• Team maturity
• Individual and group behavior
• Communication and motivation

• Acquire Project Team: Focuses on obtaining the people needed for the project.
• Develop Project Team: Focuses on improving team skills, relationships, and performance.
• Manage Project Team: Focuses on tracking performance, resolving issues, and managing changes within the team.

• Standardize which services users can deploy
• Apply governance and access controls
• Manage approved product versions
• Give users self-service access to authorized resources

• AWS Control Tower: Sets up and governs a multi-account AWS environment.
• AWS Cloud Map: Provides service discovery for applications.
• AWS Clean Rooms: Enables privacy-preserving collaboration on data analysis.

Why A is the best fit

Why the other options are weaker

• B — Create alerts in Dynamics 365 Finance: Alerts notify users about changes; they do not calculate tax.
• C — Implement the Common Data Model: CDM standardizes data structures but does not provide tax-calculation logic.
• D — Run a Power BI report: Power BI is primarily for analysis and reporting. A report might display tax rates, but it would not normally calculate and apply tax to sales orders operationally.
• E — Write scripts and code: This could work, but it is less aligned with the requirement for a quick, cost-effective implementation because custom development requires more time and maintenance.

1. Start with the number of devices: 260 usable addresses.
2. Use the formula:

1. Test the host-bit values:

1. IPv4 has 32 total bits:

• /24: 254 usable — too small
• /23: 510 usable — sufficient
• /22: 1,022 usable — more waste
• /21: 2,046 usable — even more waste

• ??????? ?? ??????? ????? ?? ???? Discount ????? ????? ??? 0.05.
• ?? Power Query Editor? ???? ???? Discount ?? ????:

• ???? ?????? 0.05.

• Remove Errors: ???? ?????? ???? ????? ??? ?????? ???? ????? ??? ???????? ??? ??????.
• Keep Errors: ????? ??? ??????? ???? ??? ?????? ???? ??? ???????.
• Edit the query in the Query Errors group: ???? ?? ???? ????????? ???????? ???? ?? ?????? ??? ????? ???? ???????? ???????.

• NTLM: Uses Windows challenge-response authentication and does not provide the normal web-based MFA redirect flow.
• Single Sign-On: Automatically reuses existing credentials; it is intended to avoid prompting, not to support an MFA workflow.
• Transparent: Intercepts the session without redirecting the user to a separate authentication page.

• Espionage: Stealing information, usually for competitive or political purposes.
• Data exfiltration: Unauthorized removal or transfer of data.
• Nation-state attack: An attack sponsored or conducted by a government.
• Shadow IT: Unapproved technology or access methods used by employees.

• CBWFQ (Class-Based Weighted Fair Queuing): Creates traffic classes and assigns each class a guaranteed bandwidth or queueing treatment.
• PQ (Priority Queuing): Uses multiple queues with strict priority. Higher-priority queues are serviced before lower-priority queues, making it useful for delay-sensitive traffic—but it can starve lower-priority traffic.

• FRTS: Traffic shaping for Frame Relay; it controls the transmission rate rather than selecting packets during congestion.
• CAR: Polices traffic by rate, typically dropping or remarking packets that exceed a limit.
• PBR: Policy-Based Routing; it selects forwarding paths and is not a QoS queueing mechanism.

• Deterrent control: The signs warning that people may be filmed can discourage unauthorized activity. They do not physically prevent the activity, but they may influence behavior.
• Detective control: CCTV detects or records activity so security personnel can identify incidents and investigate them later.

• Preventive: Stops an incident from occurring, such as a locked door.
• Corrective: Restores systems after an incident, such as backups.
• Directive: Instructs people what to do, such as security policies or warning instructions.
• Compensating: Provides an alternative control when the preferred control cannot be used.

• Authentication: Verifies who the user is.
• Authorization: Determines what the authenticated user is allowed to access.
• Accounting: Records login activity and resource usage.

• CIA: Confidentiality, integrity, and availability—the core security objectives.
• ACL: Access Control List; rules that permit or deny traffic or access.
• PEM: A format and standard commonly associated with encoded certificates and keys.

• B — Both inner and outer classes can be declared as with sharing.

• C — Inner classes do not inherit sharing settings from the container class.

apex

    public with sharing class InnerClass {
        // Explicitly uses sharing rules
    }

• Malware or malicious software
• Command-and-control tools
• Internet surveillance and intrusion software

• ITAR: A U.S. regulation controlling defense-related articles and services; it is not the international arrangement described.
• Palermo Convention: Focuses on transnational organized crime and related protocols, not export controls for cyber weapons.
• GDPR: European data-protection and privacy legislation.

• MTTC: Time required to contain or limit the incident’s impact — best match.
• MTTR: Time required to remediate or recover from the incident; this may include eradication, restoration, and cleanup, which goes beyond merely stopping spread.
• MTTD: How long it takes to discover the incident.
• MTBF: Average time between failures, generally a reliability metric.

• Minimum and maximum values
• Number of distinct values
• NULL information
• Other metadata used for pruning

• Incident and problem management
• Change management
• Service-level management
• Configuration management
• Continual improvement

• Kanban: A workflow and task-visualization method; useful within service teams but not a complete service-management framework.
• Lean Six Sigma: Focuses on reducing waste and process variation; broader process-improvement methodology.

• Root path cost
• Port priority
• Port ID

text
interface GigabitEthernet0/1
 spanning-tree vlan 10 port-priority 64

• Interface number: Helps form the port ID but is not normally configured as the preference value.
• VLAN priority: Not used to select a preferred forwarding interface.
• Hello time: Controls how often BPDUs are sent; it does not select a preferred port.

• Liability accounts (2000–2999) would incorrectly require dimensions, although they should have none.
• Expense accounts (6000–6998) would incorrectly require Customer, which should be optional.
• Account 6999 needs a separate rule because it requires all four dimensions, including Customer.

• 2000–2999: no dimensions
• 4000–4999: Department and Division required; Project and Customer optional
• 6000–6998: Department, Division, and Project required; Customer optional
• 6999: Department, Division, Project, and Customer required

• delta.logRetentionDuration
• delta.deletedFileRetentionDuration

• delta.deletedFileRetentionDuration controls how long physically deleted or obsolete data files are retained before they become eligible for removal by VACUUM. Set it to interval 30 days.
• delta.logRetentionDuration controls how long Delta transaction-log history is retained. Set it to interval 30 days to support audits and time travel for that period.

sql
ALTER TABLE Catalog1.Schema1.Table1
SET TBLPROPERTIES (
  'delta.logRetentionDuration' = 'interval 30 days',
  'delta.deletedFileRetentionDuration' = 'interval 30 days'
);

• File policy in Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps: Can detect activity involving files, but it is not designed specifically to investigate risk from departing or deleted users.
• Access review policy in Microsoft Entra: Reviews whether users should retain access to resources; it does not detect historical document downloads.
• Alert policy in Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Primarily handles alerts for email and collaboration threats, not insider-risk investigations involving departed users.

apex
Set<Id> accountIds = new Set<Id>{ accountId1, accountId2 };

List<Account> accounts = [
    SELECT Id, Name
    FROM Account
    WHERE Id IN :accountIds
];

• A: LIMIT accepts a number, not a collection of IDs.
• B: Set.containsAll() checks set contents in Apex; it does not filter SOQL results.
• C: Database.query() accepts a dynamic SOQL string, not a Set<Id> directly.

• Enforce organizational rules, such as allowed regions or required tags
• Audit resources for compliance
• Deny noncompliant deployments
• Aggregate compliance results across subscriptions

• Layer 1: Check cables, power, and link lights.
• Layer 2: Check switching, VLANs, and MAC learning.
• Layer 3: Check IP addressing, routing, and gateways.
• Higher layers: Check services, applications, and user settings.

• Create a plan of action: Decide how to implement the fix.
• Implement the solution: Apply the selected fix.
• Verify functionality: Confirm the problem is resolved and systems work normally.

• CPU: Number of virtual CPUs and, where applicable, CPU reservations.
• Memory: Amount of memory and memory reservations.

• Network interface: Usually configured through the VM or workload networking configuration.
• PCI devices: Specialized hardware and not a standard VM Class resource in this context.
• Storage: Typically selected through storage policies or the VM’s storage configuration.

• AWS Network Firewall can inspect and block traffic across a VPC when traffic is routed through the firewall. A Drop action rule can deny traffic from the suspicious source IP.
• GuardDuty findings are sent to Security Hub.
• A Lambda function can be invoked when Security Hub receives a new GuardDuty finding, extract the source IP, and update the Network Firewall policy with a blocking rule.

• GuardDuty threat lists: Used to identify or increase the severity of findings; they do not directly block VPC traffic.
• AWS WAF: Protects supported web applications, such as CloudFront or Application Load Balancers. It does not provide general VPC-wide traffic blocking.
• GuardDuty suppression rules: Suppress or hide findings. They do not block the suspicious traffic.

• Confirming the data has the required columns and data types
• Handling missing or duplicate records
• Converting data into a suitable format
• Selecting or engineering useful features
• Splitting it into training, validation, and test sets

1. Prepare the training data

3. Train the model
4. Evaluate its performance
5. Tune hyperparameters if needed
6. Deploy the model

• Floating IP must be enabled on the load-balancing rule.
• Session persistence should normally remain None.
• The health probe determines which replica should receive traffic.
• Client-IP persistence is unnecessary and can cause connections from the same client to remain associated with a backend replica longer than intended.

• Q9 — Client IP session persistence: No
• Q10 — Floating IP: Yes

• Disabling a compromised account
• Blocking a malicious IP address
• Isolating an endpoint
• Creating or escalating an incident ticket

• Virus signatures: Primarily associated with antivirus or endpoint protection.
• Security agent deployment: Usually handled by endpoint-management or security-agent platforms.
• Vulnerability scanning: Typically performed by vulnerability-management tools.

• Create procurement-manager-role only in the shared services accounts, where procurement managers operate.
• Attach AWSPrivateMarketplaceAdminFullAccess to that role.
• Procurement managers assume the role when they need to administer Private Marketplace.
• Apply a root-level SCP that explicitly denies Private Marketplace administration to everyone except that role. The SCP acts as a maximum-permission boundary across member accounts.
• Add another SCP denying creation of a role with the same name. Otherwise, another administrator might create a similarly named role and bypass the intended exception.

• Creating the role in every account increases administration and creates more opportunities for misuse.
• A permissions boundary on developer roles does not prevent other administrators from managing Private Marketplace.
• Applying the SCP only to shared services accounts would not protect the rest of the organization.

• Response and resolution time frames
• Availability or uptime requirements
• Performance targets
• Support obligations
• Penalties for failing to meet requirements

• SOW (Statement of Work): Defines the project’s scope, tasks, and deliverables.

• Operational: Covers day-to-day actions and processes, such as training, backups, or incident response.
• Managerial: Includes policies, standards, risk assessments, and procedures.

O ponto essencial é adquirir o Provisioned Throughput.

• A. Adjust resolution: Incorrect because an incompatible resolution usually causes no display, distortion, or an unsupported-mode message—not intermittent flickering.
• B. Swap the HDMI cable: Correct. Replacing the common, easily tested component is the appropriate troubleshooting step.
• C. Replace the projector: Incorrect because the issue also occurs with a monitor.
• D. Configure refresh rate: A mismatched refresh rate can cause visual problems, but the repeated flicker across displays points more strongly to the cable.

• Azure DevOps Analytics views are accessed through the Power BI Azure DevOps (Boards only) connector.
• This connector authenticates directly to Azure DevOps Services and lets you select an Analytics view.
• Analytics views allow filtering and shaping data in the cloud before Power BI loads it.
• Azure DevOps Server (Boards only) is for an on-premises Azure DevOps Server instance, not Azure DevOps cloud.
• A generic OData Feed connection can access OData endpoints, but it is not the purpose-built connector for Azure DevOps Analytics views.
• “OData queries” describes the underlying technology or query approach, not the most appropriate Azure DevOps connector choice here.

• B: Extending credit to customers increases receivables, so more cash is tied up in working capital.
• C: Replacing obsolete inventory does not reduce the overall inventory investment; it simply changes its composition.
• D: Paying suppliers earlier reduces payables. This uses cash and therefore increases the funds tied up in working capital.

• Normal or expected input
• Boundary values
• Invalid input
• Potential error conditions

• A is incorrect: it creates test code, not detailed test documentation.
• C is incorrect: it does not primarily integrate external testing frameworks.
• D is incorrect: executing tests requires your development environment or test runner.

• Filtering harmful or inappropriate content
• Blocking specified topics
• Detecting and masking sensitive information
• Enforcing content policies suitable for children

• Amazon Rekognition analyzes images and videos; it does not control text generated by a language model.
• Amazon Bedrock playgrounds are for testing models and prompts, not enforcing production safety policies.
• Agents for Amazon Bedrock help models complete tasks and use tools; they do not primarily provide content-safety controls.

• Honeypots: Decoy systems or services designed to attract attackers. Legitimate users should not access them, so activity there is a strong indicator of compromise.
• DNS sinkholes: Redirect malicious or suspicious DNS requests to a controlled destination. This can identify infected systems attempting to contact command-and-control infrastructure.

• Tokenization: Replaces sensitive data with non-sensitive tokens; it is not an attacker-detection method.
• CI/CD: Automates software development, testing, and deployment.
• Threat modeling: Identifies potential threats and weaknesses before or during system design; it does not directly detect an active infiltrator.
• Data obfuscation: Makes information harder to understand, but does not identify attackers.

• Who owns security risks and decisions
• Who is responsible for implementing controls
• Who reports security performance to management
• How security responsibilities align with business objectives

• B — Compliance with audit requirements: Governance may support compliance, but audit compliance is not its main objective.
• C — Monitoring security incidents: This is an operational security activity, not the central purpose of governance.
• D — Creation of tactical solutions: Governance establishes direction and oversight; tactical solutions belong to management and operational teams.

• Label applied does not automatically exclude a file from Copilot.
• Encryption/usage rights determine whether Copilot can access the file’s content.
• If the user has no permission under Label2, File3 should be unavailable to Copilot for that user.
• File3’s label might be inherited by derived content only if File3 was actually processed and contributed by an authorized user; it should not be treated as contributing merely because it exists in the source set.

• Initial Intrusion: The compromised VPN account and stolen phishing credentials describe how the attacker first gained access, but that happened months earlier.
• Persistence: The scheduled tasks and recurring C2 connections show how the attacker maintained and automated continued access.
• Search and Exfiltration: This would involve locating and transferring data. The scenario does not primarily describe data discovery or theft.
• Cleanup: Cleanup involves removing evidence or covering tracks. Obfuscated scripts may make detection harder, but the main behavior here is maintaining access.

• Outer packet: 10.5.1.1 > 52.165.16.154
• IPv4 protocol field: 41, which indicates IPv6 encapsulation
• Inner packet: IPv6 traffic between 2001:... addresses

• MAC address spoofing: Changes Layer 2 addressing; it does not explain the IPv6-in-IPv4 structure.
• Steganography: Hides data inside files or media, not visibly in a tunneled protocol.
• Broken encryption: No evidence of encryption being cracked.
• On-path sniffing: Involves intercepting traffic, not sending data to an external host.

• Dataset file: Use Import mode. Excel files are imported into Power BI, and the two Sales tables can be combined with Power Query.
• Report file: Use a live connection to the published dataset. This keeps the report separate from the dataset and avoids importing the data again.

• Report file: DirectQuery/live connection
• Dataset file: Import

• transform() — modifies every element in an array
• filter() — keeps elements matching a condition
• exists() — checks whether any element matches
• aggregate() — reduces array elements to one result

sql
SELECT transform(scores, x -> x * 2)
FROM student_scores;

• A is incorrect because higher-order functions are mainly useful for nested or complex data.
• B is incorrect because they do not convert logic into Python.
• D is incorrect because their purpose is not to fix slow built-in functions, but to process arrays or maps with custom logic.
