Overview of the 4A0-109 Triple Play Services Exam
Network engineers must demonstrate proficiency in architecting and deploying Triple Play services across Alcatel-Lucent Service Router platforms utilizing the 7750 SR and 7450 ESS product lines. Core technical objectives mandate expertise in implementing residential broadband delivery, including IGMP-based multicast distribution, subscriber management via PPPoE or IPoE, and advanced QoS traffic classification policies. Candidates must master ATM and Ethernet aggregation architectures while configuring HSI, VoIP, and IPTV service integration within Provider Edge routing environments. Furthermore, technical competency involves deploying Triple Play service-aware billing, hierarchical queuing mechanisms, and subscriber-specific authentication protocols to ensure carrier-grade performance, scalability, and seamless quality-of-service enforcement across multiservice IP networks.
