Salesforce Marketing-Cloud-Account-Engagement-Specialist Exam Prep
Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist (Page 28 )

• Correct answer: Day 3 (Option B)

• Why: In Engagement Studio, when the program is paused, the prospects’ wait times are also paused and do not count down. They resume from the same point when the program restarts. Here, the prospect was at day 3 of a 5-day wait when paused, so they resume on day 3 after the 1-day pause.

1. Yes — Microsoft Foundry provides a secure, governed environment for building and managing generative AI applications and agents. It brings together models, data, tools, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.

1. Yes — Foundry is designed for enterprise workloads and supports scaling AI applications as usage grows. Scalability comes from the underlying Azure services and managed infrastructure.

1. Yes — Foundry can be used in solutions involving image recognition and computer vision. Applications can use vision-capable models and Azure AI vision capabilities for tasks such as image analysis, object detection, and OCR.

• Scale out during the hours when customer traffic is high.
• Scale in during low-demand periods, reducing instance-hours and cost.
• Use scaling policies based on metrics such as CPU utilization or request count.

• Multiple Availability Zones: Improves availability and fault tolerance, but does not automatically reduce cost.
• Placement group: Helps with specialized performance or low-latency requirements, not cost optimization.
• Private subnets: Improve network security, but do not automatically adjust capacity or reduce EC2 usage costs.

• Due diligence: Investigating and evaluating a third party before entering into or continuing a business relationship.
• Attestation: An independent party provides assurance about an organization’s claims or controls. A SOC 2 examination is an example of an attestation engagement, but the analyst requesting and reviewing the report is performing due diligence.
• Internal audit: Reviews the organization’s own internal controls.
• Penetration testing: Actively tests systems for exploitable vulnerabilities.

• Free: Doesn’t support the required custom domain and SSL configuration.
• Shared: Doesn’t provide the required SSL support or scalability.
• Basic: Supports multiple instances and SSL, but its storage limit is insufficient for the required 12 GB.
• Standard: Supports:

1. It examines the source MAC address and learns it on the incoming port.
2. It examines the destination MAC address.
3. If the destination MAC is already in the MAC/CAM table, it forwards the frame only through the associated port.
4. If the destination MAC is unknown, it performs unknown-unicast flooding:

• Security controls
• Processes and procedures
• Compliance evidence
• Performance against contractual requirements

• Service-level agreement (SLA): Defines expected service performance, such as uptime and response times.
• Memorandum of agreement (MOA): Documents a general agreement between parties, but does not necessarily provide audit rights.
• Supply chain analysis: Identifies risks across suppliers and dependencies, but is not a contractual mechanism for reviewing vendor controls.

• AES: Symmetric block cipher; modern and widely recommended.
• DES: Symmetric block cipher, but obsolete because its key size is too small.
• IDEA: Symmetric block cipher.
• PGP: An encryption system/application that uses a hybrid approach. It is not itself a single symmetric block cipher.

• Load balancer: Distributes application traffic; it does not protect switch MAC tables.
• IPS: May detect some attack traffic, but it is not the primary control for switch-port MAC learning.
• NGFW: Protects at network boundaries but does not directly limit MAC addresses learned on access ports.

• C — Create a form extension and implement validation

• D — Use Chain of Command (CoC) with a form extension class

• Liability accounts (2000–2999) would incorrectly require dimensions, although they should have none.
• Expense accounts (6000–6998) would incorrectly require Customer, which should be optional.
• Account 6999 needs a separate rule because it requires all four dimensions, including Customer.

• 2000–2999: no dimensions
• 4000–4999: Department and Division required; Project and Customer optional
• 6000–6998: Department, Division, and Project required; Customer optional
• 6999: Department, Division, Project, and Customer required

• MFA: Protects sign-in and authentication.
• Azure Key Vault: Protects deployment secrets and credentials.
• Answer: No (B).

• Installing software
• Applying configuration changes
• Calling PowerShell scripts
• Running setup or customization commands

cmd
powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File C:\Scripts\ConfigureVM.ps1

• GPO logon script: Runs only when a user logs on and depends on domain/GPO processing.
• GPO startup script: Runs during startup, but requires the VM to be domain joined and receives the applicable GPO.
• Place scripts in a VHD: Merely makes the scripts available; it does not automatically execute them.

• The job keeps 31 days of regular restore points. A backup from the week of January 1 is older than 31 days by March 20, so it is no longer expected to remain on the performance tier.
• It is also a weekly GFS full backup, retained for 14 weeks. Therefore, it is still protected and has not been deleted.
• In a Scale-out Backup Repository, older backups can be moved from the performance tier to the capacity tier—typically object storage—according to the configured offload policy.
• The archive tier is not selected because the question’s configuration does not indicate that the backup has been archived there.

• Review the risk register.
• Check the documented risk response strategy, such as using a backup resource, reallocating work, or adjusting sequencing.
• Implement the planned response promptly.

• B: Moving the task may affect the critical path and should not be done without first evaluating the planned response and impacts.
• C: Excluding a required task would change scope and business requirements without proper analysis or approval.
• D: Updating lessons learned and the risk log may be appropriate later, but it does not address the immediate problem. First, execute the response.

• A. Remove rows where Sales[Status] is Canceled

• E. Remove Sales[Canceled Date]

• B: Removing Sales_Date would remove information users need—the date portion.
• C: Changing Delivery_Time to Integer could alter its meaning or precision and is not necessarily safe.
• D: Splitting the date/time column creates additional columns rather than simply removing unnecessary data.

• Denial-of-service: Prevents users from accessing a service; it does not normally redirect them.
• Social engineering: Manipulates people into taking an action, such as clicking a malicious link, but does not directly alter DNS resolution.
• ARP spoofing: Associates the attacker’s MAC address with another device’s IP address on a local network. It can intercept traffic, but the described website redirection is most specifically DNS poisoning.

• The application stores data on Amazon EBS volumes, so the encryption should be applied directly to those volumes.
• EBS encryption uses AWS-managed cryptographic operations and is designed to provide encryption at rest with minimal performance impact.
• The volumes are created during initial deployment, so they can be configured as encrypted when provisioned.

• B: Moving data to an encrypted S3 bucket changes the storage design and does not encrypt the EBS data the application uses.
• C: A custom encryption algorithm adds application overhead and is unnecessary.
• D: Ephemeral disks are temporary storage and can lose data when instances stop or terminate. Encrypting only the AMI’s root volume does not protect data stored elsewhere.

• Sales revenue is affected because internal sales are recorded at the transfer price.
• Operating profit is affected because revenue changes while costs may remain unchanged.
• Return on investment (ROI) is affected because ROI depends on operating profit and the division’s investment.
• Cost of components purchased is not affected by the transfer price. These are costs incurred when buying components from external suppliers, not the internal price charged for the division’s output.

• Amazon S3 as the origin for static content
• Application Load Balancer (ALB) as the origin for dynamic content
• Amazon Route 53 configured to point the company’s domain name to CloudFront

• /static/* ? S3 origin; cache content at edge locations
• Dynamic paths such as /api/* ? ALB origin; forward requests to the EC2 application

• Dataset file: Use Import mode. Excel files are imported into Power BI, and the two Sales tables can be combined with Power Query.
• Report file: Use a live connection to the published dataset. This keeps the report separate from the dataset and avoids importing the data again.

• Report file: DirectQuery/live connection
• Dataset file: Import

• A. IDS attack signatures: An IDS primarily detects suspicious network activity; it is not the best tool for scanning uploaded files.
• C. Load balancer: Improves availability and distributes traffic but does not inspect files for malware.
• D. WAF: Protects web applications against attacks such as SQL injection and command injection. It may inspect HTTP requests, but malware scanning of uploaded PDFs is the key requirement here.

• On VirtualNetworkA: enable Allow gateway transit.
• On VirtualNetworkB: enable Use remote gateways.

• AB’s own PPE: $100m
• CD’s PPE in its individual accounts: $50m
• Fair value uplift at acquisition: $40m
• Remaining useful life: 10 years
• Extra depreciation each year: $40m ÷ 10 = $4m
• Four years’ extra depreciation to 31 December 20X4: 4 × $4m = $16m
• Remaining fair value uplift: $40m - $16m = $24m

• Default route: 0.0.0.0/0; used only when no more specific route exists.
• Network route: A route covering the destination, such as 10.10.13.0/24.
• Host route: An exact 10.10.13.10/32 entry in the routing table.
• Floating static route: A backup static route with a higher administrative distance.

• Row counts
• Minimum and maximum values for columns
• Distinct-value information
• Other characteristics used for optimization

• RTO is how quickly service must be restored.
• RPO is how much data loss is acceptable.

• Snapshots: Restore points may be older and require restoration time.
• On-site backups: Usually require rebuilding or restoring systems, producing higher RTO/RPO.
• Journaling: Records database changes and can reduce data loss, but it still generally requires recovery or replay operations; it does not by itself provide the fastest service restoration.
• Hot site: Designed for rapid failover and minimal data loss.

• A — Tables
• B — Named file formats
• C — Schemas
• E — Databases

Why these are correct

• Tables: Can be cloned using CREATE TABLE ... CLONE. The clone initially uses zero-copy cloning, so storage is shared until changes are made.
• Named file formats: Can be cloned as database objects, preserving the file-format definition.
• Schemas: A schema and its eligible objects can be cloned.
• Databases: A database and its eligible schemas and objects can be cloned.

Why the others are incorrect

• Shares: A share is an account-level data-sharing object, not a normal cloneable database object.
• Users: Users are security principals and cannot be cloned with CLONE.

• A. Adjust resolution: Incorrect because an incompatible resolution usually causes no display, distortion, or an unsupported-mode message—not intermittent flickering.
• B. Swap the HDMI cable: Correct. Replacing the common, easily tested component is the appropriate troubleshooting step.
• C. Replace the projector: Incorrect because the issue also occurs with a monitor.
• D. Configure refresh rate: A mismatched refresh rate can cause visual problems, but the repeated flicker across displays points more strongly to the cable.

• Gathering structured feedback from team members and relevant stakeholders
• Reviewing observed behaviors and completed work
• Using a feedback or performance-assessment method suitable for the project environment

• A — Identify levels of decision-making authority: Concerns governance and delegation, not performance evaluation.
• B — Evaluate demonstrated task accountability: This could be an input to feedback, but it does not establish a complete or fair evaluation method.
• D — Analyze team member influence: Focuses on influence and stakeholder/team dynamics, not overall performance.

• ?? ?? ?? ??
• ?? NFS ?? SMB ?? ??
• ?? ???? ???
• ?? IP ??? ???? ?? ???
• ??? ?? ???? ?????

• B: ????? NFS ? Snowball Edge? ?? ?? ? AWS? ?? ? S3
• D: ????? NFS ? ????/Direct Connect ? File Gateway ? S3

• Technical platform interfaces: Important for integration and interoperability, but they should support—not drive—the architecture.
• Scalability of the network: Valuable as the organization grows, but a scalable solution is ineffective if it does not meet business or security needs.
• Development methodologies: Relevant to implementation, but they do not define the organization’s fundamental security requirements.

• Label applied does not automatically exclude a file from Copilot.
• Encryption/usage rights determine whether Copilot can access the file’s content.
• If the user has no permission under Label2, File3 should be unavailable to Copilot for that user.
• File3’s label might be inherited by derived content only if File3 was actually processed and contributed by an authorized user; it should not be treated as contributing merely because it exists in the source set.

• How quickly the vendor must respond to incidents or requests
• Availability or uptime requirements
• Resolution time targets
• Performance expectations and penalties for failing to meet them

• SOW (Statement of Work): Describes the work, deliverables, scope, and schedule.
• MOA (Memorandum of Agreement): Documents an agreement in which parties commit to specific responsibilities.
• MOU (Memorandum of Understanding): Records a general intention to cooperate; it may not be legally binding.

• Menerjemahkan soal ke bahasa Indonesia.
• Menyebutkan jawaban yang benar.
• Menjelaskan alasan jawaban tersebut.
• Memberi tahu jika kunci jawaban yang tersedia tampaknya keliru.
• Menjelaskan istilah teknis penting dalam soal.

• Formatting: May remove file-system references but often leaves recoverable data.
• Degaussing: Uses a magnetic field to erase data, but can damage or make magnetic drives unusable.
• Defragmentation: Rearranges data for performance; it does not securely erase information.

1. Initiate — establish the project, scope, team, and governance.
2. Plan — develop the detailed plan, schedule, resources, and implementation approach.
3. Execute — configure, integrate, migrate, test, and prepare the solution.
4. Deploy — move the solution into production and support go-live.
5. Close — complete handover, confirm outcomes, and formally close the project.

• B — Sales staff will tender for riskier contracts:

• C — Sales staff will encroach on other territories:

• D — Sales staff will look for new jobs:

• Access List: controls whether a client is allowed or denied.
• Connect List: controls which wireless networks/APs a station may connect to.

• C — Before update
• D — Before insert

apex
trigger AccountTrigger on Account (before insert, before update) {
    for (Account acct : Trigger.new) {
        acct.Description = 'Updated automatically';
    }
}

• In after insert and after update, Trigger.new records are read-only.
• Use after triggers when you need the record’s final database Id or want to create/update related records.
• Attempting to change a field directly in an after trigger causes a read-only error.

• Custom domains are supported.
• It provides dedicated compute instances.
• It offers enough storage for the applications.
• It supports multiple instances with load balancing between them.
• It is less expensive than higher tiers such as Premium.

• Free and Shared use shared compute and have limited storage, so they cannot meet the dedicated-instance requirement.
• Basic provides dedicated compute and custom domains, but the question’s requirement for the broader multi-instance/load-balancing capability is intended to point to Standard.

• TLS passthrough: A TCP listener does not decrypt traffic. The client establishes TLS directly with the backend, so the backend can perform mutual TLS (mTLS) authentication.
• gRPC over TCP: gRPC commonly uses HTTP/2 over TLS, and an NLB can forward the underlying TCP connections without modifying them.
• Scalability: Registering the Pods as IP targets allows Kubernetes to add or remove Pods as the Horizontal Pod Autoscaler changes the workload. The AWS Load Balancer Controller updates the target registrations.
• Port 443: The NLB can forward TCP traffic on port 443 without terminating TLS.

• An ALB HTTPS listener terminates TLS at the load balancer, violating the requirement that traffic must not be decrypted before reaching the backend.
• Targeting the EKS node group's Auto Scaling group does not directly track dynamically scaling Pods.
• An NLB TLS listener also terminates TLS at the NLB, preventing end-to-end mTLS between the client and backend.

• Unrestricted data mining: Data mining is not automatically a privacy violation. It becomes an issue when personal data is collected or used improperly.
• Identity theft: This is a possible consequence of inadequate privacy protection, but it is not the central focus of privacy regulations.
• Human rights protection: Privacy can be considered a human right, but this option is broader than the specific regulatory focus.
• Identifiable personal data: Regulations such as HIPAA focus directly on controlling the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information.

• Penalty clauses (3): Set a financial consequence when the supplier fails to meet agreed performance standards. In commercial contracts, these must be drafted carefully because unenforceable penalties may be challenged; liquidated damages are often preferred.
• Service credits (4): Reduce the amount payable, or provide a credit, when the supplier misses SLA targets. They are a common remedy for service underperformance.

• Warranties (1): Usually provide assurances about quality, condition, or compliance, but they are not the normal direct remedy for missing ongoing SLA targets.
• Force majeure clauses (2): Excuse or protect a supplier from liability when exceptional events outside its control prevent performance. They do not compensate the buyer for ordinary poor performance.

• C. Case after-insert trigger that publishes a Platform Event

• D. Custom Apex controller that publishes a Platform Event

• A. Trigger with a callout: Salesforce triggers should not make direct synchronous callouts, and this tightly couples transaction processing to the external system.
• B. Workflow Rule with Outbound Message: This can react to record changes, but it cannot reliably capture a user clicking a menu item. It also does not provide the same flexible event-driven model as Platform Events.

• Virus signatures: Primarily associated with antivirus or antimalware tools.
• Security agent deployment: Usually handled by endpoint-management or endpoint-security platforms.
• Vulnerability scanning: Performed by vulnerability-assessment tools, although a SIEM may ingest their results.

• Deficiency found before patient use: usually does not require an adverse-event report because no patient exposure occurred.
• Event caused solely by the patient’s condition: may not be reportable if the device did not contribute.
• Malfunction protection operated correctly: generally exempt when the device’s safety mechanism worked as intended and prevented harm.
