• Liability accounts (2000–2999) would incorrectly require dimensions, although they should have none.
• Expense accounts (6000–6998) would incorrectly require Customer, which should be optional.
• Account 6999 needs a separate rule because it requires all four dimensions, including Customer.

• 2000–2999: no dimensions
• 4000–4999: Department and Division required; Project and Customer optional
• 6000–6998: Department, Division, and Project required; Customer optional
• 6999: Department, Division, Project, and Customer required

1. Create or verify cost groups

1. Set up the item model group

1. Create the costing version

1. Enter or calculate item costs

1. Activate the standard costs

• Q1 adjustments can post to the previous year’s Period 13.
• The year-end can be run again, but only the most recent closing entry remains.
• All P&L dimensions carry into retained earnings.
• All past and future periods are On Hold.

• Delete close of year transactions: No
• Create closing transactions during transfer: No
• Fiscal year status permanently closed: No
• Year-end close template: defined
• Retained earnings main account: designated
• Opening transactions option for financial dimensions: No
• Transfer profit and loss dimensions: Close All
• All prior and future ledger periods: On Hold

• The key requirement to allow re-running the year-end with only the latest closing entry means you should be able to delete older closing entries. Setting "Delete close of year transactions" to Yes is typically needed; with No, older closing entries would remain.
• Similarly, “Create closing transactions during transfer” should usually be Yes so a new closing can be created during the transfer step.
• Opening transactions should likely be Yes to ensure P&L dimensions flow into retained earnings; No may prevent carrying those dimensions.
• The rest (retained earnings main account, On Hold for prior/future, and transferring P&L dims) align with the goals.

• RTO is how quickly service must be restored.
• RPO is how much data loss is acceptable.

• Snapshots: Restore points may be older and require restoration time.
• On-site backups: Usually require rebuilding or restoring systems, producing higher RTO/RPO.
• Journaling: Records database changes and can reduce data loss, but it still generally requires recovery or replay operations; it does not by itself provide the fastest service restoration.
• Hot site: Designed for rapid failover and minimal data loss.

• IRR assumes that interim cash flows can be reinvested at the project’s own IRR. This may be unrealistic, especially when the IRR is very high.
• MIRR assumes reinvestment at a specified rate, usually the company’s cost of capital or another realistic reinvestment rate.

• B: MIRR does not specifically favour projects with long payback periods.
• C: MIRR and IRR can rank competing projects differently.
• D: MIRR is not always higher than IRR; it may be higher or lower depending on the cash flows and reinvestment rate.

• netstat -tuln can show listening TCP ports.
• If the web service is not listening, or is bound only to 127.0.0.1, remote browsers cannot connect even though the server responds to ping.

• traceroute: Tests the path to the server, but ping already confirms basic reachability.
• tcpdump: Useful for detailed packet analysis, but it is more appropriate after checking whether a service is listening.
• arp: Helps troubleshoot local IP-to-MAC resolution, not an application-layer web connection.

• Create a CodeCommit repository in the secondary Region.
• Use CodeBuild to run a Git mirror operation from the primary repository to the secondary repository.
• Use EventBridge to detect relevant repository events, such as a pull request being merged.
• Invoke a Lambda function, which starts the CodeBuild project.

• B: Amazon S3 is object storage, not a Git repository that developers can use as a CodeCommit remote.
• C: CodeArtifact is intended for packages and artifacts, not source-code repository mirroring.
• D: An AWS Cloud9 environment is not an appropriate automated replication mechanism and would require manual or persistent infrastructure management.

• A class/teacher fact should contain one row per Class ID. It can support the count of classes and contain attributes such as Teacher First Name and Period Number.
• An attendance fact should contain one row per attendance event, such as Class ID + student + date. It supports attendance counts by day and monthly averages.

• Teacher First Name ? Teacher fact
• Period Number ? Attendance fact

• Preparing and managing datasets
• Building and training machine-learning models
• Testing and evaluating models
• Deploying models as endpoints for predictions

• Data Cloud combines data from multiple systems.
• It resolves and organizes that data into a unified customer view.
• That unified view enables downstream actions such as personalized campaigns, segmentation, analytics, and activation.

• A = core platform value
• D = a resulting business use case or benefit

• Regression predicts continuous numeric outcomes, such as house price, temperature, or sales amount.
• Linear regression assumes the target can be estimated from a linear relationship between the input features and the target.
• In Azure Machine Learning, you use a labeled dataset containing:

• Classification predicts a category or class, such as “spam” or “not spam.”
• Clustering groups similar records without a known label; it is an unsupervised learning technique.

• Static IP address: Not needed if the workstation already has network connectivity.
• Subnet mask: Incorrect subnetting would usually prevent local communication, including pinging the server.
• Default gateway: Primarily affects communication outside the local network; it does not normally prevent finding an internal domain controller.

• Accept: Acknowledges the risk without taking additional action.
• Transfer: Shifts the risk or financial impact to another party, such as an insurer.
• Mitigate: Reduces the likelihood or impact through controls like patching, MFA, or segmentation.
• Avoid: Eliminates the activity that creates the risk.

• IaaS: você gerencia a VM e o sistema operacional.
• PaaS: o Azure gerencia a infraestrutura; você se concentra no aplicativo.

• The audience and stakeholders
• The complexity and type of requirements
• The communication method and level of detail needed
• Whether to use diagrams, models, documents, demonstrations, or slides

• B: Authority to host the presentation is not the key preparation activity.
• C: Stakeholder sign-off may occur later; presenting requirements does not always require formal approval beforehand.
• D: A scribe may be useful in a meeting, but hiring one is not a core preparation requirement for presenting.

• Form layout
• Related lists
• Dictionary settings
• UI policies
• Client scripts
• Views and field visibility

• Personalization usually affects only the individual user.
• System configuration can affect other users, depending on its scope and conditions.

• Accept terms of use
• Enter a temporary code or credentials
• Provide basic registration information

• Enterprise authentication — Authenticates organizational users, often with centralized identity services; it is not specifically designed for temporary guest access.
• Ad hoc network — A temporary device-to-device network, not an authentication process.
• WPA3 — A wireless security standard. It protects Wi-Fi access but does not provide the web-based temporary access workflow described here.

• Sales revenue is affected because internal sales are recorded at the transfer price.
• Operating profit is affected because revenue changes while costs may remain unchanged.
• Return on investment (ROI) is affected because ROI depends on operating profit and the division’s investment.
• Cost of components purchased is not affected by the transfer price. These are costs incurred when buying components from external suppliers, not the internal price charged for the division’s output.

• Internal hostnames and subdomains
• Network structure and naming conventions
• Servers and services
• Relationships between systems

• Determining ISP-assigned address space: Usually involves external registration and DNS information, not internal host discovery.
• Bypassing DNS sinkholing: Would require evidence that malicious DNS requests avoided redirection.
• Initial access: DNS queries alone do not show that the attacker gained access.
• Exfiltrating data: DNS tunneling can do this, but the snippet would typically show encoded or unusually long DNS queries.

Recommended process

1. Access each switch’s terminal.
2. Use help to identify available commands.
3. Use the MAC table command, such as:

text
   show mac-address-table

1. Use VLAN information, such as:

text
   show vlan

1. Use interface information, such as:

text
   show ip interface brief

1. Record each device’s:

• Power BI dataset — Reuses the existing tables, relationships, and measures. You mainly create new visualizations.
• SharePoint folder — Connects to the source files, but you would need to rebuild the model and measures.
• Power BI dataflows — Primarily provide reusable data preparation; they do not automatically provide the existing report’s measures and model.
• Excel workbook — Requires reconnecting to and modeling the source data again.

• B. Conditional access policies

• D. Additional authentication factors

• Disciplinary actions: Punish users but do not prevent credential-based attacks.
• More regular account audits: Useful for finding inactive or excessive accounts, but less direct for stopping unauthorized logins.
• Content filtering: Primarily controls web or email content, not authentication.
• Review of permissions: Reduces privilege but may not stop unauthorized account access.

• A. IDS attack signatures: Detects suspicious network activity, but is not primarily designed to scan uploaded files for malware.
• C. Load balancer: Distributes traffic among servers and improves availability; it does not inspect files for threats.
• D. WAF: Protects web applications from attacks such as SQL injection and command injection, but its primary role is not malware scanning of uploaded documents.

• Minimum and maximum values
• Number of distinct values
• NULL information
• Other metadata used for pruning

• Injection
• Broken access control
• Authentication failures
• Security misconfiguration
• Cross-site scripting

• STIX: A standardized language and format for exchanging threat intelligence.
• OVAL: Used to describe and assess system vulnerabilities and configuration issues.
• Threat intelligence feed: Provides current indicators and intelligence about threats, but not necessarily a structured overview of common application exploitation methods.
• CVE: A catalog of individually identified, publicly disclosed vulnerabilities.

• New Cat 5 line: Useful if testing shows a damaged cable, but the issue is specifically triggered when the fax is active.
• 802.1Q tagging: Used to carry multiple VLANs across trunk links; it does not solve the issue by itself.
• Change the MTU: Relevant to packet-size or fragmentation problems, not typical fax-related interference.

• QuickVisualize is used to create and render a Power BI report from a DataFrame.
• The typical pattern is:

python
PBI_visualize = QuickVisualize(
    get_dataset_config(df),
    auth=device_auth
)

PBI_visualize

• get_dataset_config(df) prepares the dataset configuration.
• auth=device_auth supplies authentication for the Power BI connection.
• Evaluating PBI_visualize renders the report in the notebook.

NOT source=access.log

• Quotation marks are used for exact phrases or values containing spaces.
• Parentheses group parts of a Boolean expression, but they are not required for every Boolean search.

1. It examines the source MAC address and learns it on the incoming port.
2. It examines the destination MAC address.
3. If the destination MAC is already in the MAC/CAM table, it forwards the frame only through the associated port.
4. If the destination MAC is unknown, it performs unknown-unicast flooding:

• Least privilege: Limits users to only the access necessary for their job.
• Background checks: Help identify potentially risky individuals before employment.
• Separation of duties: Ensures that one person cannot complete a sensitive process alone, reducing fraud and abuse.

• A: Not expanding would increase its dependence.
• B: More business from the same corporation would make dependence worse.
• D: Passing work to other minority businesses does not solve its own dependence.
• E: The passage does not suggest that it can force or influence the corporation to give work to others.

• File hashes
• Strings and metadata
• Binary or code structure
• Known malicious patterns
• Embedded indicators or signatures

• Sandbox: Executes the file in an isolated environment; useful for observing behavior, but usually slower.
• Network traffic analysis: Examines communications generated by a system or application, not the file itself.
• Package monitoring: Tracks software packages or installations and is not the primary method for examining malware signatures.

• TLS passthrough: A TCP listener does not decrypt traffic. The client establishes TLS directly with the backend, so the backend can perform mutual TLS (mTLS) authentication.
• gRPC over TCP: gRPC commonly uses HTTP/2 over TLS, and an NLB can forward the underlying TCP connections without modifying them.
• Scalability: Registering the Pods as IP targets allows Kubernetes to add or remove Pods as the Horizontal Pod Autoscaler changes the workload. The AWS Load Balancer Controller updates the target registrations.
• Port 443: The NLB can forward TCP traffic on port 443 without terminating TLS.

• An ALB HTTPS listener terminates TLS at the load balancer, violating the requirement that traffic must not be decrypted before reaching the backend.
• Targeting the EKS node group's Auto Scaling group does not directly track dynamically scaling Pods.
• An NLB TLS listener also terminates TLS at the NLB, preventing end-to-end mTLS between the client and backend.

• Existing Eventhouse data: remains available only in the KQL database.
• Data ingested after enabling the feature: is copied to OneLake and can be accessed through OneLake file explorer.
• New databases: are irrelevant; the setting applies to the selected KQL database.

• The message came from the claimed sender (authentication)
• The message was not altered (integrity)
• The sender cannot easily deny sending it (non-repudiation)

• Attackers can send unsigned phishing emails.
• Attackers may compromise a legitimate account and send signed malicious emails.
• Users may still be tricked by a validly signed message.

• Lower order numbers appear first.
• For example, a variable with order 100 appears before one with order 200.
• The Sequence field is not the control used for catalog variable display order.
• The Default Value sets a value, not placement.
• The Choice field defines selectable options, not the variable’s position.

• Sustainability
• Performance efficiency
• Reliability

• Identify the causes of delays.
• Improve its workflow and collaboration.
• Adjust tools or development practices.
• Discuss improvements during retrospectives and apply them in future sprints.

• A: An impediment log can help track issues, but merely maintaining one does not remove the impediments.
• B: Directing the team toward solutions reduces team ownership and self-organization.
• C: Adding impediments to the product backlog may be appropriate in some cases, but it does not automatically ensure they are addressed promptly.
• D: Best reflects agile leadership: empowerment, continuous improvement, and removal of impediments.

1. Install a Cassandra-compatible ODBC driver.
2. Configure a data source name (DSN), if required.
3. In Power BI Desktop, select Get Data > ODBC.
4. Choose the configured DSN and connect.

• Microsoft SQL Server database: Connects to SQL Server, not Cassandra.
• OLE DB: Requires a compatible OLE DB provider; this is not the standard choice for Cassandra in Power BI.
• OData: Requires Cassandra data to be exposed through an OData service, which is not the normal direct connection method.

Sales % of Total =
DIVIDE(
    [Total Sales],
    CALCULATE(
        [Total Sales],
        ALLSELECTED(Products)
    )
)

DAX
Total Sales =
SUM(Sales[SalesAmount])

Why ALLSELECTED is required

• The numerator, [Total Sales], is evaluated for the current product.
• ALLSELECTED(Products) removes the current product’s visual filter when calculating the denominator.
• It preserves filters applied at the report, page, or slicer level.

Why not ALL(Products)?

DAX
CALCULATE([Total Sales], ALL(Products))

• Malware or malicious software
• Command-and-control tools
• Internet surveillance and intrusion software

• ITAR: A U.S. regulation controlling defense-related articles and services; it is not the international arrangement described.
• Palermo Convention: Focuses on transnational organized crime and related protocols, not export controls for cyber weapons.
• GDPR: European data-protection and privacy legislation.

• Employees can work from any location, including remote sites and offices worldwide.
• Login can be relatively seamless after the device is registered.
• It does not require distributing additional physical authentication equipment.

• Geotagging: Identifies location, but location alone is not a strong authentication method and may prevent legitimate remote access.
• Smart cards: Provide strong authentication but require card readers and physical cards, increasing equipment and management requirements.
• Time-based logins: Typically involve one-time codes that users must enter, making the experience less seamless and potentially requiring a token or authenticator app.

• Customers may boycott V’s products.
• Supermarket customers may stop buying from V.
• Investors may view V as having higher legal, ethical and reputational risk.
• V could face fines, lawsuits, contract losses and higher costs.
• Expected future profits may fall.

DAX
Previous Year Sales =
CALCULATE(
    [Total Sales],
    PARALLELPERIOD('DATE'[Month], -1, YEAR)
)

• CALCULATE evaluates [Total Sales] after modifying the filter context.
• PARALLELPERIOD shifts the current date period. -1 moves it backward, and YEAR specifies a one-year shift.
• 'DATE'[Month] is the date column used for the time calculation. In a proper date table, this should be a real date column or an appropriate calendar column—not merely text such as "January".

• A is valid:

apex
  for (Account theAccount : AccountList) {
      // process theAccount
  }

• D is conceptually valid, using an index:

apex
  for (Integer i = 0; i < AccountList.size(); i++) {
      Account theAccount = AccountList[i];
  }

• B is invalid because for(AccountList) is not valid loop syntax.
• C is invalid because each item is an Account, not a List.

• On-premises resources, such as an existing database
• Cloud resources, such as Azure services or virtual machines
• Connectivity that allows the application to use both environments

• Public cloud: resources are entirely provided through a public cloud provider.
• Private cloud: resources are dedicated to one organization, typically on-premises or privately hosted.

• SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language): Commonly used for enterprise SSO between an identity provider and cloud applications. It sends signed authentication assertions to the service provider.
• RADIUS: Primarily used for centralized authentication to network devices, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• EAP: An authentication framework commonly used with network access technologies; it is not typically the SSO protocol for SaaS applications.
• OpenID: Related to identity authentication, but traditional enterprise SSO questions involving cloud applications generally expect SAML. OpenID Connect is a newer authentication layer built on OAuth 2.0.

• Create the field in the CRM on the relevant person records—typically Lead and Contact in Salesforce.
• Give the Marketo Sync User read/write access to the field.

• Match found: ServiceNow updates the existing target record.
• No match found: ServiceNow normally creates a new target record.
• No Transform Map is created or deleted based on whether a match is found.

• Vulnerability scanner: Identifies technical weaknesses in systems, applications, or devices.
• Penetration test: Simulates attacks to determine whether vulnerabilities can be exploited.
• SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol): Uses standardized formats and protocols for automated vulnerability, configuration, and compliance checks.
• Illumination tool: Maps and analyzes broader supply-chain exposure and third-party risk.
