Overview of the HCIP-Datacom-Core Technology V1.0 Exam
Network engineers must demonstrate advanced proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting complex enterprise routing and switching architectures. Candidates evaluate OSPF and BGP routing protocols, implementing advanced OSPF features, route control, and route selection mechanisms. The curriculum mandates deep expertise in Ethernet switching, covering RSTP, MSTP, and VLAN implementation alongside VXLAN tunnels and EVPN control planes. Furthermore, the assessment validates competencies in IGP-LDP synchronization, DHCP relay, and IGMP snooping. Security proficiency involves implementing ACLs, AAA authentication, and IPSec VPNs. Network architects integrate these technologies to manage reliable, scalable Datacom infrastructures, ensuring high availability, traffic optimization, and robust protocol security within modern Huawei-centric enterprise environments.
