Overview of the HCIP-Datacom-Advanced Routing & Switching Technology V1.0 Exam
Targeting senior network engineers, this certification validates advanced proficiency in deploying and troubleshooting complex enterprise-scale datacom networks. The curriculum mandates deep technical mastery of OSPF and IS-IS routing protocols, focusing on advanced attributes, loop prevention, and multi-topology routing. Candidates must implement BGP path manipulation, route aggregation, and large-scale community processing. Technical requirements include configuring advanced IPv6 transition mechanisms, complex route control strategies, and multicast protocols like PIM-SM and IGMP. Furthermore, candidates must execute robust Ethernet switching deployments utilizing MSTP, VXLAN, and EVPN architectures while optimizing network performance through advanced QoS policies, traffic policing, and congestion management techniques within high-availability Huawei-centric routing environments.
