Overview of the HCIE-Data Center Network (Written) V1.0 Exam
The H12-921_V1.0 certification validates the expertise of Data Center Network Engineers and Cloud Architects in architecting, deploying, and maintaining scalable Huawei-based enterprise network infrastructures. Candidates must demonstrate deep proficiency in VXLAN overlay technologies, EVPN control planes, and BGP-EVPN multihoming mechanisms within leaf-spine topologies. The curriculum requires rigorous analysis of iMaster NCE-Fabric integration, automated service provisioning via NETCONF/YANG, and SDN-driven data center interconnection strategies. Mastery of high-availability protocols, comprehensive multicast routing, and precise security enforcement through micro-segmentation is critical. Furthermore, the exam evaluates the systematic resolution of complex multi-vendor interoperability challenges, traffic optimization telemetry, and the holistic administration of high-performance, programmable data center fabrics.
