DEX-403 targets Salesforce developers and system administrators tasked with architecting custom applications using non-code declarative logic within Lightning Experience. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in constructing complex schema structures using custom objects, fields, and relationship modeling. Mastery requires implementing advanced automation through Flow Builder, validation rules, and formula logic. Furthermore, the exam evaluates the capability to configure security models, including profile-based permissions, sharing rules, and organization-wide defaults. Technical assessment focuses on leveraging Lightning App Builder for interface customization, utilizing dynamic forms, deploying Global Actions, and managing metadata effectively to streamline business process workflows without resorting to programmatic Apex or JavaScript development.
