Overview of the Associate - Networking Exam Exam
The DEA-5TT2 examination validates foundational proficiency for network engineers and cloud administrators regarding Dell Technologies’ modern networking ecosystem. Candidates must demonstrate deep comprehension of the Open Networking initiative, specifically focusing on OS10 architecture, data center switching fabrics, and leaf-spine topologies. The curriculum covers essential Layer 2 protocols including VLT, RSTP, and VLAN tagging, alongside Layer 3 routing via BGP and OSPF. Technical assessment requires mastery of automated configuration management, REST API integration, and SNMP-based network telemetry. Proficiency in identifying hardware specifications for S-Series and Z-Series switches remains critical for optimizing high-performance, programmable, and vendor-agnostic network infrastructures within scalable enterprise software-defined environments.
