Overview of the HCIP Carrier IP V2.0 Exam
Targeted at senior network engineers and carrier infrastructure specialists, the H31-124_v2.0 exam validates expertise in deploying and maintaining complex IP-based carrier networks. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in advanced IGP routing protocols including OSPF and IS-IS, while mastering BGP path selection, attribute manipulation, and route policy implementation. Technical requirements encompass the configuration of MPLS L2VPN and L3VPN architectures, traffic engineering using RSVP-TE, and seamless integration of IPv6 transition mechanisms. Furthermore, the assessment mandates command of multicast protocols like PIM-SM and IGMP, alongside robust security strategies for carrier-grade network hardening, high-availability fault recovery, and comprehensive end-to-end service quality management within Huawei-centric routing environments.
