Q 15
A NAT gateway automatically connects outbound to the internet after being attached to a public IP address or prefix and a subnet. A NAT gateway takes priority over Azure Load Balancer with outbound rules, instance-level public IP addresses on virtual machines (VMs), and Azure Firewall for outbound connectivity. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/nat-gateway/faq#how-can-i-use-a-nat-gateway-to-connect-outbound-in-a-setup-where-i-m-currently-using-a-different-service-for-outbound

Q11 Answers as Y N N
Y - Based on this From MS Zonal: You can place your NAT gateway resource in a specific zone for a region. When NAT gateway is deployed to a specific zone, it will provide outbound connectivity to the internet explicitly from that zone. The public IP address or prefix configured to NAT gateway must match the same zone. NAT gateway resources with public IP addresses from a different zone, zone-redundancy or with no zone aren't allowed. NAT gateway can provide outbound connectivity for virtual machines from other availability zones different from itself. The virtual machine’s subnet needs to be configured to the NAT gateway resource to provide outbound connectivity. Additionally, multiple subnets can be configured to the same NAT gateway resource.
2- N - Subnet 2 is not associated with NATgateway1
3- N - Considering that Public IP prefixes are of CIDR /28-31 and from the question Prefix 1 /28 = 16 IPs /29 = 8 IPs /30 = 4 IPs and smallest /31 = 2 IPs Implies CIDR /31

Q 30
Answers are not correct
N - No Link to VNET3 so another IP from VNET3 [10.4.0.2] has no impact.
Y - Link to VNET3 resolves the issue
N - No impact if there is no link to VNET3

Q11
You are planning an Azure solution that will contain the following types of resources in a single Azure region:
-Virtual machine
-Azure App Service
-Virtual Network gateway
-Azure SQL Managed Instance
App Service and SQL Managed Instance will be delegated to create resources in virtual networks.
You need to identify how many virtual networks and subnets are required for the solution

Q6
Correct answers , Explanation as below
The subnets for IPV6 must be exactly /64 in size .This ensure future compactivity should you decide routing of the subnet to an on-premises network since some routers can accept only /64 ipv6 addresses.
Add IPV6 configuration to NIC . “Configure all of the VM NICs with an IPV6 address using “Add-AzNetworkInterfaceIPConfig”

Hi @kg
I feel you. Based on my experience, the questions are valid but some of the answers were not accurate. So I managed to study and kinda figure these answers. For me the accuracy of the questions were more important and I saw most of them in the exam.

Passed on 23/02/2025. 56 questions & 1 case study. Not an easy one. Time is really critical as the questions are so lengthy. It requires more deeper knowledge than the content of the official course material. Case study and some of the questions, say 25-30% are from this dump, but not majority. However , this is a good source to get your knowledge cross-checked and extend beyond the official course content. Good luck everyone.
