Overview of the Dell VxRail Design Exam
The D-VXR-DS-00 certification targets systems architects and infrastructure engineers responsible for designing complex Dell VxRail hyper-converged environments. Candidates must architect multi-site deployments integrating VMware vSphere, vSAN, and NSX-T within a software-defined data center framework. Proficiency requirements include sizing compute and storage resources, configuring advanced physical and virtual networking topologies, and executing automated lifecycle management via VxRail Manager. Applicants validate technical competency in designing scalable data protection schemes, implementing robust security hardening policies, and optimizing underlying hardware configurations. Mastering high-availability clusters, multi-node scaling strategies, and external storage connectivity remains critical for successful architectural planning within the enterprise-grade ecosystem.
