To bring data from Unified Data Cloud objects into prompt templates, you can use a "Template-triggered prompt flow" in Salesforce, which allows you to retrieve relevant data from your Data Cloud objects within a flow and then dynamically insert those values as merge fields directly into your prompt template, effectively "grounding" the prompt with real-time data.
Key steps involved:
Create a Template-triggered Prompt Flow:
In the Flow Builder, select "Template-triggered Prompt Flow" as the flow type.
Add a "Get Records" element:
Within the flow, use a "Get Records" element to retrieve the necessary data from your Data Cloud object. Specify the Data Cloud object and any relevant filters to retrieve the desired data.
Use "Create Prompt Instructions":
Add a "Create Prompt Instructions" element to construct the prompt text with merge fields that will be populated by the retrieved Data Cloud data.
