Overview of the Specialist - Systems Administrator, VxRail Appliance Exam Exam
The DES-6332 certification validates the technical proficiency of systems administrators and infrastructure architects in managing Dell EMC VxRail hyper-converged environments. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in deploying and configuring VxRail clusters, managing VMware vSphere and vSAN storage policies, and executing lifecycle management via VxRail Manager. The curriculum emphasizes physical network architecture, including leaf-spine topologies and VLAN configurations, alongside logical cluster maintenance. Assessment criteria cover troubleshooting hardware components, node expansion procedures, and integrating VMware vCenter Server instances. Furthermore, proficiency in monitoring cluster performance metrics, managing data protection workflows, and performing seamless software upgrades is critical for maintaining operational integrity within distributed virtualized infrastructures.
